Account Director

Krein is a digital company based in Milan, Florence, Mantua and New York operating in Digital Advisory applied to B2B markets and engineering sectors since 2017.

The company relies on more than 15 years of experience of its founders in the development of Integrated Digital Strategies and Digital Product Development. Among the sectors covered: Energy & Renewables, Aerospace, Industrial Lighting, Power Generation, Electronics, Industry 4.0, IT and Manufacturing in general.

The Account Director will be a senior team leader and direct clients and partners within the company. This position should manage and inspire teams internally and build relationships across multiple client teams. As the first line to the client, the Account Director should be the go-to for consultation, new project assignments, new scopes, and any relationship management or problem-solving needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow senior-level client relationships as a thought-leader, consultant, and trusted partner
  • Lead strategic business conversations with internal teams and agency partners as well as clients
  • Advanced communication + presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly
  • Excellent capabilities to execute upsell and cross-sell strategies to unlock business opportunities
  • Player-coach skillset to manage your team positively and efficiently, provide support, motivate and challenge the team to create smart and inventive creative work.
  • Provide challenging assignments and ongoing constructive feedback to direct reports
  • Establish + track clear KPIs for each team member
  • Excellent goal setting skills, Sets a clear and strategically led growth plan for the growing Account Department
  • Strong decision maker, business oriented and ROI oriented
  • Work with department heads for monthly workflow, client deliverables, and resource planning
  • Oversee the development and execution of plans, campaigns and projects, managing internal teams to meet client goals within proposed timeline and budget
  • Develop agency SOWs and resource allocation plans for individual client needs
  • Participate in new business meetings, RFI/RFP, and pitch presentations
  • Oversee account team members and provide guidance to ensure internal and client-facing success

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Digital Media Experience, Advertising Consultancy and/or Marketing roles
  • Deep knowledge of B2B and tech ecosystems 
  • Deep understanding on how to secure, maintain, and grow Krein’s client portfolio. 
  • Experience building client relationships across industries.
  • An expert in all aspects of campaign development, including brand strategies, integrated creative campaigns, production from start to finish and final delivery of assets across a variety of channels
  • Knowledge of agency operations and management of workflows within advertising/creative/production companies
  • Understanding of agency scopes, team structures and resource allocations
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, including the ability to present work
