Krein takes a great step forward by achieving ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100 Certifications, underscoring its commitment to continuous improvement towards sustainable business performance

Article

Krein has been found compliant to the Quality Management System standards: EN9100:2018 and AS/EN 9001:2015 (technically equivalent to AS9100D and JISQ 9100:2016).

Overview of ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100 Certifications

ISO 9001 Certification denotes alignment with globally recognized quality standards, ensuring consistency to the delivery of products and services that meet both customer and regulatory expectations and requirements.

AS/EN 9100 establishes quality criteria across the aerospace supply chain, validating adherence to a unified standard, ensuring that the company is committed to fostering improvement, reducing errors, and enhancing competitiveness.

The accreditation journey: future benefits and qualifications

Krein's achievement of ISO 9001  and AS/EN 9100 Certifications has involved rigorous procedures and adherence to strict criteria. In particular:

  • Conformity to the ISO 9001 standard's directives.
  • Satisfaction of internal requirements.
  • Meeting customer demands as well as statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintenance of proper documentation.

At the same time, the entire process has helped Krein to establish a Quality Management System (QMS), optimize customer, management, and employee satisfaction KPIs, develop a plan to guarantee cost savings and implement continuous process improvement measures.

With the acquisition of AS/EN 9100, Krein also became compliant for operating in one of the fastest-growing sectors of Italian and international manufacturing: Aerospace & Aviation

Thanks to AS/EN 9100, Krein will be even more qualified to provide services aimed at enhancing the positioning of companies in the aerospace supply chain, particularly in the sphere of product design (UX/UI and platform development), all in full compliance with the stringent standards demanded by the industry.

The accreditation journey, initiated in September 2023, was successfully concluded in eight months, thanks to the collaborative efforts of a dedicated team of professionals, both internal and external.

A journey which is not yet finished.

Year after year, Krein's certification will be reaffirmed, demonstrating ongoing adherence to top-tier processes and providing customers with assurance of premium-quality services and outputs.

Regular training and updates for our personnel processes will take place, keeping them abreast of the latest ISO and AS/EN standards and internal quality control protocols.
